Free Workshop Loaner Program

NanoDrop provides qualified workshops and courses free loaner instruments for teaching purposes. |

The intent of the workshop loaner program is to provide an education service to the scientific community free of charge. The program is designed for short, hands-on, wet lab workshops. Participating workshops should focus on a particular molecular technique (e.g. qPCR, sequencing, microarrays, etc.), or a subject matter that deals with such molecular techniques (e.g. cell biology, neurobiology, plant genetics, etc.). Workshops should be designed for professional, post-doctoral, or graduate students.

Terms and conditions:
- This program is limited to the US and Canada.
- Thermo Fisher Scientific will pay all shipping costs.
- The loaner period will be determined by communication between the course instructor and the our free trial coordinator (typically 1-2 weeks).
- The user will supply a PC (MS Windows XP or Vista) to run the instrument software.
- The user will supply and confirm that all needed reagents are on hand before an instrument will be shipped (especially important for the NanoDrop 3300).
- The workshop loaner program instrument will be used to test non-radioactive samples only.
- After the loaner period, the user will decontaminate and ship the instrument back to NanoDrop. Shipping instructions are supplied.
