Analysis Modules
The Thermo Scientific NanoDropTM 3300 Fluorospectrometer software is designed to make fluorescence analyses fast and convenient. Quantification of nucleic acid and protein as well fluorescently tagged or inherently fluorescent molecules is enabled with this software. The main software menu is shown below.

User's Manual
The full user's manual in .pdf form is available by selecting this button.

Application Modules
The software is tailored to meet the life scientist's needs and includes the following modules:

Nucleic Acid Quantitation - 33258 Hoechst dye, PicoGreen® dye, and RiboGreen® dye methods
Protein Quantitation -using Quant-iTT Protein assay
Other Fluorophores - FITC (Fluorescein) (methods for using either the Blue or White LED), Cy3-Alexa Fluor® 555 and Cy5-Alexa Fluor® 647, 4-methyl umbelliferone, and Quinine Sulfate.

Create/Edit Method
The user can configure new fluorescent dyes and methods as well as edit existing methods.

Fluorescence Profiler
The Fluorescence Profiler is designed to provide LED excitation selection guidance when the user is unsure of the excitation/emission profiles of a specific or unknown fluorophore.

Data Viewer
Plot multiple spectra in real-time. Quickly review data and overlay plots for up to 200 samples from multiple archive files for comparison.

Source Check
This module is used to confirm that the LEDs are operational.

Account Management and User Preferences
Each user of the instrument can be assigned their own username and password which enables the user to specify their user preferences and allows for segregation of that user's archive files.

Archived Data
The data from each measurement is automatically stored in the folder c:\NanoDrop 3300 data in tab delimited format. The user can open the archive file using the Data Viewer software (see below) or a spreadsheet program such as MS Excel.
