Extended Warranty Plans Description
Extends the life of the standard warranty that comes with the Thermo Scientific NanoDrop^TM 1000 Spectrophotometer. For example, a one year extension provides complete coverage for two years from time of purchase. Extended warranties can be added after the original sale to provide ongoing coverage for your instrument indefinitely. Warranty coverage includes parts, labor and Priority Overnight shipment to and from our Wilmington,DE location (all service is performed at our facilities). Typical total downtime is two business days for US customers.

Preventive Maintenance Plans Description
Your instrument will be fully evaluated by our certified technicians to confirm proper working condition. Included in the service is full calibration and certification (with documentation), flashlamp test, spectrometer test, reconditioning of measurement pedestals, solenoid spring adjustment, solenoid cleaning, inspection of fiber optic cables and alignment check of measurement pedestals. A Preventive Maintenance Plan can be purchased at any time after the original sale of the instrument. Each plan includes two preventive maintenance evaluations per year and FedEx Priority Overnight shipment to and from our Wilmington,DE location (all maintenance is performed at our facilities). Typical total downtime is two business days for US customers.
